Shag dancers, here’s what you’ve been waiting for! Intermediate Shag Lessons, taught by Roger and Angie Baker, starts Monday, March 16. You must have learned the basic beginner shag steps to take this class. The class runs for six weeks, through April 27, skipping Easter Monday. Class is held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lancaster Moose Lodge, 200 Shrine Moose Drive, Lancaster. Cost is $40 per person. Singles and couples welcome. Registration is 6:30 p.m. before the first class on March 16. Sponsored by the Lancaster Shag Club.

Organic Gardening Class Starting.If you or anyone you know may be interested in the organic gardening class, please respond to this email. The first class is free and is basically touching base with everyone. The instructor, Robin Zavada, is a Kentucky State certified organic gardener. Gardening Class meeting on Sunday, March 8th, at 3pm at Chastain's Studio Lofts, 107 South Main Street, Lancaster, SC. The meeting is to discuss specific needs for those who wish to grow an organic garden, choose sites for demonstrations, and choose the most convenient days for the class. This is going to be a hands on class that will include one community project and several satellite classes to be held at students homes. The idea is to demonstrate different types of gardening practices and to aid in getting those gardens started. I ask that folks RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
